  ABC is an organization that produces a bi-annual magazine on  the birds of Africa and related Islands.  African Bird Club and its members provides a worldwide focus for African  Ornithology.

  The Zululand Birding Route is  a project of BirdLife SA, focused on conserving birds and their habitats by  promoting and developing birding tourism in the region. The Zululand Birding  Route is currently managed under the Birdlife SA Rio Tinto Avitourism programme  which helps conserve birds in Zululand by giving them direct financial value.
